You must have used swype functionality on Android based Samsung smartphones. It is one of the easist utility that allows you to type words accurately on the keyboard. All of you have to do is to slide your finger across the letters gently without a break and the word will be typed onto the text area automatically. As iPhone has one of the responsive keyboard among all smartphones, developers have tried to port swype in iOS. Because Apple will never approve this application due to the violation of the APIs, the tweak has been made available through the unauthorized way.

I have personally used the swype on both the platforms, iOS and Android. My personal experiences says that swype is accurate but consumes a lot time and most of the users prefer typing manually rather than sliding their fingers. There is no doubt that the feature is handy but some folks may not need it at all. For me, the tweak which is available in cydia for free has not been implemented correctly. It pop-ups the various keys while you struggle to slide your finger from one key to another. Sometime the key is not even visible. But you may want to give it a try if you have never used the swype before. It is available in cydia for free.

Check out the video by FSM on how the ‘swype’ tweak works.
