As they say – “Everything in this universe will come to an end”. EA founder, Trip Hawkins predicted something similar to it about Apple. According to Trip, Apple has reached to its peaking point where one CEO, Steve Jobs is leading the company from a long time. This company has risen from its ashes, now at its peak and the third stage, where it will decline in few years. Apple invented the first mass-market tablet known as ‘iPad‘, sold millions of units and currently, one of the richest companies in US. In fact, some studies suggested that Apple could be richer than the US government itself.
Apple reinvented the phone in 2007. Since then only 4 variants of a iPhone have become the biggest rivals for various vendors in the market. Steve might be the only guidance to head Apple in the right direction. Otherwise, all other folks working in the company are not Steve, neither they can become the same after him. This doesn’t mean that Steve wouldn’t live longer. But no one has lived forever in this world. There will be a time when there would be no scope for further betterment of the company. At that day, Apple may see a decline. Nevertheless, the day could arrive in 2-3 years.
