You don’t need to send the device to get that etching done on your iPhone. In fact you can do it all yourself with the help of a vinyl sticker and a Super Magical Etching Fluid. Though I must tell you that this magical fluid is actually acidic and the kit also contains a pair of latex gloves to protect your hands from the acidic fluid.
All you have to do is apply the vinyl sticker on the back of your iPhone 4 and then pour the contents of the magical fluid in between the cut portions of the sticker. Wait for 3 minutes and then remove the sticker and wipe off the surface with the provided sponge. Ta Da! You will have the design etched on the back glass of your iPhone for life.
