Unlike Android where the Facebook application was already updated before the company started rolling out the Timeline feature, iOS users are still deprived of this functionality. If you open any profile with the timeline activated, it would still appear in the same old typical view. However, we have solution for iOS users. Now, you can access the Facebook timeline from the web interface, that is, mobile safari.
It’s not been a long time since Facebook has made their web interface similar to their native applications on iOS and Android device. Needless to say, they first updated iOS app to match the interface of both web and app. Though Android users got this big update after a while. Anyhow, these up and downs can be felt through the delay in features or the partiality done between the two platforms. One gets the timeline love early and one gets the UI love before the other.
Undoubtedly, there must be two teams for the separate platforms which work so hard in porting these amazing features. Till now, we have been impressed with the Timeline feature from Facebook. If you are moment lover who want to revert back into time to know what you actually updated or uploaded when you joined Facebook, this feature is meant for you.
All your historic updates are just a click away. It even tells you when did you join the Facebook for the first time and what was your first update. You can scroll back with the help of the year mentioned on the right hand side. Timeline feature feels much more classy on an application rather than a desktop version where everything is much more complex.
Let’s know what do you think about it in the comment section. Are you waiting for it to hit iOS application?
