TwitkaFly via Cydia Lets You Tweet From The Notification Center in iOS 5 [Tweak]

Well, i am one of those folks who loves to tweet instantly without opening the application, wait for the bunch of tweets to load and then click on the compose button on the top corner to send a tweet. Fortunately, i have tried and found some of the applications on App Store which lets you do the same. However, TwitkaFly via Cydia is an advanced version of those applications with an amazing integration in the notification center.

Also, all those applications i have found out on App Store are paid and the price tag starts from $0.99. Nevertheless, TwitkaFly is also a paid tweak from the Cydia Store, but it completely worth of the pricing. Once you have purchased and installed the tweak from the Cydia for $1.99, all you need to do is to go to settings>TwitkaFly and enter your credentials in Twitter connect. I tried tweeting before that and my device entered into Safe mode multiple times.

So, i would advise you to enter your username and password before moving ahead. Now, you are all set to tweet from the notification center. Just bring the shutter down from the top and you would notice a small button at the bottom left side with a twitter icon. In addition to that twitter icon, a compose button is also attached, just to let you know that it can only be used to compose tweets. Tap the button and a dialog box would appear for you to tweet instantly.

It is very simple method. You don’t need to go anywhere else to tweet your experiences. In fact, you can tweet from any application without navigating back to official application. The actual advantage of having this tweak is to reply of all of your mentions from the lockscreen or notification center. In settings of Twitkafly, you can choose whatsoever service you want to be used for the reply of twitter mentions.

Different services available are Twitter, Tweetbot and Tweetings. Not only notification center, but the tweet can be composed with the help of Activator such as double tapping the home button, pressing the volume button twice, sliding on the status bar etc. It can be customized from the tweak settings itself. Like iBlacklist, you can also enter twitter handles of those people to whom you don’t want to receive replies anymore.

There are options of making your own Blacklist or Whitelist. Even you can tweet about the tracks you are listing to with just a click of a button. There are option to use specific sound once your tweet is sent from the TwitkaFly. There’s is a whole lot more than to do instead of only tweeting instantly from the the notification center. We are totally loving it to the core. You should try it out from the Cydia Store as well.

TwitkaFly is available under BigBoss repository. So, you don’t need to add any repositories to install the tweak for yourself. Let’s know what do you think about it in the comment section. It is also compatible with the iPad. Do you have any better alternative for it?
