Apple Made JailBreaking Difficult in iOS 6.1, Says iOS Hacker

It’s been couple of months already and we haven’t seen a properly functional JailBreak for iOS 6.0 yet. All those vulneribilities which were being found out on iOS 5.x to untether JailBreak iOS devices have been fixed, except the one in A4 devices which is responsible for the tethered JailBreak at this moment. As if it was not enough, according to an iOS hacker called i0n1c on twitter, the JailBreak has been made a lot more tough challenge than ever before.

It’s clear that i0n1c has been away from the JailBreak scene since the release of iOS 6.x, but he has constantly remained people updated with his discovery of exploits. In another sense, i0n1c never made these exploits public even after claiming to be successful in finding out JailBreak earlier. Anyways, rest of the iOS hackers including @pod2g wants more people to come forward and contribute, so that the Jailbreak could be possible soon.

On the other hand, popular DevTeam member, MuscleNerd seems to keep people updated with the different things happening in JailBreaking community on his blog. Pod2g in an interview said that he would be back once he gets time from his usual work. With Apple strengthening the security of iOS with consecutive versions, it’s always been difficult to remain those JailBreaking days alive.
We hope that the untethered JailBreak for iOS 6.x.x would be available in future. What do you think? Let’s know in comment section.
