Apple has lately seeded yet another version of its mobile operating system to fix exchange bugs for iOS devices. iOS 6.1.2 has been into beta in the form of iOS 6.1.1 and ultimately Apple had to release it with the successive nomenclature because they had seeded iOS 6.1.1 specifically for iPhone 4S. Just few minutes after release of iOS 6.1.2, Apple has stopped signing iOS 6.1.1.
This means that you would not be able to revert if you have not saved SHSH Blobs either using TinyUmbrella or iFaith. Also, you can checkout in Cydia where the saved SHSH Blobs could be seen in green text written at the top inside the application. Until now, we have no information whether iOS 6.1.2 has closed the loophole for JailBreak, thereby making the JailBreaking tool called Evasi0n non-functional.
If you want to remain JailBroken, we suggest you that you shouldn’t update to iOS 6.1.2 for now. And of course those who rely on ultrasn0w for the software unlock shouldn’t update since the update would also upgrade the BaseBand. Have you faced any issues with restoring on iOS 6.1.1 again? Let’s know in comment section below.
