Well, there are already rumours that Facebook is all set to unveil a Facebook phone in collaboration with HTC with even deeper Facebook integration. But lately, 9to5google sources have more information about what could be the tweaked Android Operation System might be called. According to these sources, ‘Facebook Home’ is the name of the upcoming Android OS system from Facebook.
The invitations which Facebook has sent to the media also hints towards the fact that the Android OS might have the keyword ‘Home’ in it. If you have read the invitation, it says – “Come see our new home on Android”. Although Android is pretty much obvious, but home is something which is not usual for any company like Facebook to include in an invite. Also, it has been previously reported that the design of the Facebook phone with HTC could resemble to an iPhone with a home button at the center, and two capacitive button beside it.
Needless to say, HTC has earlier released two Facebook phones which were not so much successful in the past. But it seems HTC doesn’t want to give up that easily, and willing to collaborate yet again with Facebook to work on yet another smartphone for Facebook lovers. However, it’s also rumoured that Facebook might not unveil Facebook phone in the event. Instead, they would shed some light on the features of this new ‘Facebook home’ Android OS.
