Samsung Adds a New iPhone Lookalike Device to the Galaxy Lineup

Samsung has announced the Galaxy C7, which marks the flagging off of the Galaxy C series. The device looks bang on the money like the iPhone 6 or the 6s, to the point that the volume rocker on the left side too are exactly like the iPhone. The device has the same curved design as well ugly antenna lines that we have seen on the iPhone 6. The design on the C7 and the C5, the other C series phone that was announced are very similar and mimic the iPhones to the tee.

The Galaxy C7 comes with a fingerprint scanner inbuilt in the home button too, surprise surprise. The device comes with a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED Full HD display and is powered by Snapdragon 625 chipset. There is 4GB of RAM onboard alongside the internal storage of either 32GB or 64GB. A MicroSD card slot has been given so that users can expand the memory onboard by another 128GB.
The rear and front camera, both feature a f/1.9 aperture, though the rear shooter comes with 16MP lens while the front facing unit is 8MP. The phone is fairly hefty at about 165 grams due to metallic construction. You have 3300 mAh battery in there too with Quick Charge 3.0 from Qualcomm. The phone comes with Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and NFC on board. Just like the iPhone, the C7 will be available in Gold, Grey, Silver and Pink Gold colors. The 32GB version will cost 2599 yuan while the 64GB version will retail at 2799 yuan. Doing the conversions, you would expect the price in India to be around Rs 27,000 for the 32GB version and Rs 29,000 for the 64GB unit.
