Apple is secretly testing the next generation of its operating system in one of the leading products in its territory – iPhone, iPodTouch and iPad. FutureTap has confirmed through the crash report which they have received for their ‘WhereTo?’ application. It crashed due to the MKUserLocationBreadCrumb.@Chronic, later figured out that the API is somehow related to iOS Maps &  location functionality.

It has been assumed that the iOS 5.0 would see major changes along with some minor improvements in Cloud Services. Apple may try to emphasize more on streaming and downloading the media content through its popular network – Mobile Me. Along with the revamp, ‘Find My Friends’ could arrive with the iOS 5.0 which would allow iDevices users to locate their friends if they are present nearby. Wireless syncing, multitouch gestures, teleportation etc are the secondary features.

All these rumors are the clear indication towards the iOS 5.0 unveiling in WWDC 2011. However, iPhone 5 release could be delayed till september due to the recent launch of Verizon iPhone 4 & White model. What do you think about it ?
