J.P. Morgan: No LTE in iPhone 5, iPhone Plus Coming?

J.P. Morgan analyst, Mark Moskowitz has predicted that the next generation iPhone wouldn’t have an LTE capability. Instead, it would be a “world phone”, that is, it could function in both ways, a CDMA or GSM phone. As per his prediction, iPhone 5 would be lighter and thinner than current generation iPhone with a larger retina display and 8 megapixel camera. Interestingly, we are not hearing much rumors about the dual LED flash and it appears that the Apple might have shifted towards one LED only with no relocation. Though, Mark Moskowitz predicted the same.

Mark Moskowitz also added that along with an iPhone 5, Apple is also set to unveil iPhone plus which would be an upgrade in the internal hardware of the iPhone 4. This upgrade could resemble with an upgrade from iPhone 3G to iPhone 3GS. Precisely, some noticeable changes in the processor or speed of the device. However, he didn’t mention anything about the cheaper iPhone. Mr. Mark Moskowitz thinks that it could target China, but it might not meant exclusively for that region. We had earlier seen Case-Mate leaks where the design of iPhone 5 was similar to iPad 2 with tapered edges at the back. You can take claims of these analysts as pinch of salt.

Now, all we are waiting for an invitation from Apple of the event in October. Are you excited about it?
