Mobile app development has been one of the hottest and most preferred segment for job seekers lately. A report given by TechNet claims that the mobile app market driven by Apple’s iOS and other leading smartphone OS has created 466,000 jobs in US alone.
Out of the total 466,000 jobs about 155,000 of those are tech-related jobs for app development and tech support, while the remaining 311,000 jobs also require tech skills but include things like app marketing and art design. Increasing revenues in app market are driving people to shift to the new era dominated by mobile devices.
TechNet noted that most of these jobs, around 23.8% of them are from California alone, New York (6.9%), Washington (6.4%), Texas (5.4%) and New Jersey (4.2%).
