Apple came up with the idea of Voice control along with the announcement of iPhone 3GS which led you to control many things on the phone with your voice. It seems that Apple would take a leap forward and unveil iPhone assistance, a totally different concept to give you even more control on your device. iPhone assistance could be unveiled along with iPhone 5 which would have a preinstalled iOS 5.0 in it. However, possibility is more that this wouldn’t be the feature of iOS 5 but the next generation iPhone due to A5 (dual core) processor.
iPhone assistance if arrives with iPhone 5 will make your iPhone a real assistance. Everything from setting a reminder to search anything on Google maps, you will be able to do with iPhone assistance. Suppose if you want to make an appointment with me on 8:30PM, you may need to tap and hold the home button, wait for the menu to pop up and dictate iPhone about it. Within seconds, your iPhone will set the appointment for you in calendar. A user can also set the reminder using iPhone assistant where you need to follow the same process.
iPhone assistance will not cover whole of your iPhone screen. Instead, it would cover one-fourth of the display which is similar to multitasking bar at the bottom. You can also search location on Google maps using iPhone assistance. This could make your life easier. What do you say?
