When iPhone OS 3.0 was released first it introduced several new features. One such feature was apps supporting landscape mode. Apps like Mails, Messages and third-party apps started supporting landscape mode when screen is rotated. I was also expecting that apple would allow springboard icons to rotate when screen orientation is changed like Android. But we all know apple useless restrictions !!!
Finally SBRotator released on cydia, This tweak rotates your springboard icons along with your user interface once you rotate your device and it supports all 4 orientation.
Sometimes SBRotator doesnot operate that smoothly, I find that sometimes it takes time to rotate the screen orientation. BTW I’m tested it on iPhone 3G it might work smoother on iPhone 3GS.
If you are using Stack then probably it will not work, you’ve to uninstall it to make SBRotator working. It is also compatible with Iconoclasm, FCSB, Five IconDock, Infiniboard, InfiniDock, Overboard and Shrink.
