When Apple started to ship the iPhone 4 in June they announced that the iPhone 4 in white turned out to be more difficult than they expected to produce and it would ship towards the end of July. But here comes another upset for iPhone fans with Apple today announcing that the same would now be delayed further and a uncertain date labeled as ‘later this year’ has been put.
Many speculations on what actually is causing this delay have been made and we can expect several other theories to show up, but the fact remains that there is a delay. And are there any more people around who feel that Black one actually looks better?
Statement by Apple on White iPhone 4
White models of Apple’s new iPhone® 4 have continued to be more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected, and as a result they will not be available until later this year. The availability of the more popular iPhone 4 black models is not affected.
