Now thats a number! There are just over a 100 million iOS devices out there (iPad + iPhones + iPod touches) and Facebook has 100 44 million active monthly users on the platform already. The aggressive approach to mobile market that Facebook took has certainly paid off. Facebook recently updated its iPhone app and added location services to it and thats only one of the amazing features that Facebook for iPhone has. You have amazing image handling pictures, tagging, news feed and all this working in a awesome manner.
Facebook has a version out for almost all platforms including Blackberry, Android & webOS. The social media giant with 500 million + users is banking on mobile for growth and thats only an indication of how big this revolution is.
Update: Ok, it seems that Facebook is clarifying that it was just 44 million and not 100 million. Still huge!
