Yahoo has released its latest version of Yahoo Messenger for iPhone. The app brings video and voice calls for iPhone users across various platforms.
iPhone users can make video calls and stream live one-to-one video over 3G or WiFi connection. The application supports video calls between iPhone to Android devices and iPhone to PC too. iPhone users can also make voice calls to Yahoo Messenger friends and make low-cost VoIP calls using Yahoo Voice Phone Out account. The low-cost international voice calls are currently available only in U.S., France, Germany, Spain and Singapore.
The app also supports multi-tasking allowing its users to run other apps while the app runs in background. Yahoo Messenger for iPhone is available on the AppStore for free. [iTunes Link]
