Apple and Verizon have come together to bring the iPad WiFi version to all 2000 Verizon stores later this month. After initially fighting supply shortage, it seems that Apple is gearing up to sell a gazillion iPads this holiday season with various retail tie-ups ranging from Best Buy, Wallmart to the Verizon stores now.
Verizon is offering a $20 / 1GB plan (no commitment) along with the iPad. The cost of the MiFi 2200 and iPad bundle is $630 – 16GB, $730 – 32GB and $830 for 64GB.
All the best Apple, this is some momentum before we even see the first competent tablet from a rival company.
