The BusinessInsider is reporting that Apple is scheduled to hold an event for iOS developers next week – Tuesday to be precise and would go on for three days. The rather discreet developers meet would be held at California. While the objectives of the meet is yet to be ascertained, it is believed that app publishers may get some extra face time with Apple engineers. The meet seems to be a rather exclusive one because from what has been said so far, it’s an invite only one.
A main objective being speculated as of now is a concentrated effort to improve the quality of applications available on the App Store. With Apple planning to release iOS 4.2 next month, the meet would turn out to be a good occasion for developers and Apple engineers to interact before the release.
