Yesterday’s update of Mac OS X Lion developer preview 2 hints at the ‘Find My Mac’ service, according to a report by 9 to 5 Mac. Some of the instances for the release have always come into existence since Apple has seeded the preview for developers. The system files indicated an icon for ‘Find My Mac’ which is exactly similar to ‘Find My iPhone’ service of the Mobile Me. It is predicted that Apple may revamp the Mobile Me to launch it in the final version of Mac OS X Lion.
Also, something known as ‘find my mac messenger’ has been speculated in the system file. They don’t have any idea about it yet but through the name, it can be predicted that it is related to sending or receiving messages between Mac’s finder and owner. Hopefully, the new Mobile Me would unveil this feature soon.
