NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang is disappointed with the sales of Android tablets. NVIDIA is a manufacturer of components which are there in many tablets. Many Android tablets are powered by processors of NVIDIA namely dual core Tegra 2.
When it comes to sales Android tablets are way below the Apple’s iPad. This is mainly due to lack of apps for android tablets. On the other hand Apple has 65,000 apps specially for iPad which gives it an edge. The marketing of iPad is very high as compared to Android tablets. If we look at iPad then no Android tablet has come close to it.
Android suffers sales problem, marketing problem and retail problem. This is due to lack of proper marketing. Android tablet sales are in the hands of Google and its manufacturing partners. They have to solve the problem together as to improve the sales of Android tablet.
