Apple Rumored to Stream Your Tracks to Cloud

Rumors of Apple’s cloud music service has been doing the rounds a lot these days. News of Apple possibly previewing the service at WWDC is also gaining momentum these days, with reports from BusinessWeek pouring in that Apple has already inked a deal with three of the four major music labels.

According to them its only Universal Music that Apple has not been able to lock in yet, which could be possible soon if rumors are to be believed. BusinessWeek also interestingly states that Apple will be able to access and copy customer’s digital music libraries in iTunes to its own servers.

Interestingly there are suggestions that Apple could bundle its cloud service along with its MobileMe application which currently allows users to synchronise their contacts, e-mail, Web bookmarks, and other user data across multiple devices.

Apple is rumored to start its cloud music service by June end. With Google and Amazon failing to make a real impact with their cloud services, maybe its the last opportunity for the labels as well to secure a steady source of income by partnering with Apple and revive the piracy hit music industry.
