Apple has reportedly enabled Find My Mac via iCloud.Com Beta. The service came into action few days ago through the web, aimed mainly for the developers. Most of the users when tried to login into the web page got different kind of errors. Though, most of them were resolved after sometime. Find My Mac has already been in rumors since Apple released preview of Mac OS X Lion.
Well, Find My Mac service is no more a rumor. The idea has been taken from ‘Find My iPhone’ service which can be activated through MobileMe. As Apple discontinued MobileMe and shifted all accounts to iCloud.com, you may login to the web and reuse it again which allows you to wipe data, trace locations, send an important message etc. Similar to it, Mac users will be able to locate all of their Mac, if stolen in any case from anywhere in the world. All that you require is to register your Macs on iCloud.com and enjoy the service for free. Currently it is meant only for developers. So, you may need to wait until it becomes public.
Find My Mac can be enabled from system preferences pane of iCloud.com
