iPhone 5 Could Have 4 inches Of Screen, Cases Measured

Prior to release of any iPhone, it’s cases have always suggested about the design of the next flagship device. Well, it seems that iPhone 5 could have a 4 inches of screen and at the same time, it would be thinner and wider than current generation iPhone. These cases have been properly analyzed through different tools of measurements and the final conclusions has led us to believe that a larger screen in size is a possibility. I would like to go a bit in technicality to discuss about the changes in the design.

iPhone 4 measures 3.5 inch screen which is 1.95 inch in width whereas the total width is of 2.31″. Thereby, leaving behind a space of 0.36 inches for the bezel. When the iPhone 5 cases are measured, Macrumors concluded that the device could be 2.24 inches wide. Hence, making the display 4 inches on the diagonals. There is no doubt that iPhone 5 would be thinner than iPhone 4. So, the margins will definitely be larger than current iPhone. However, we are still with Digitimes report, according to which iPhone 5 would have the same 3.5-3.7″ front panel. It is due to the fact that Apple already has one category, iPad right now to satisfy needs of the customer.

What do you think about this rumor?
