iOS 5.1 Beta 3 is finally made available for developers from Apple. This update brings minor improvements to the upcoming software update which would be pushed for everyone in the world. In addition to improvements, it also includes the ability to turn OFF 3G for iPhone 4S users in settings. You can access it in Settings>General>Network and toggle ON/OFF 3G depending on your needs.
iPhone 4S users have been facing serious issues due to the absence of this feature. If 3G is consuming a whole lot of battery, they can’t turn it OFF to preserve it. Instead, they need to live with that restriction. Now, when the feature has finally been arrived in iOS 5.1 Beta 3, it is expected that Apple would keep it in the final version and ultimately, many would be benefited.
Also, iOS 5.1 Beta 3 has an API which doesn’t let some files and directories to be backed up in iTunes or iCloud. You can download Xcode 4.3 developer preview 3 from iOS 5 developer program portal. Let’s know if you have found any other features in the comment section, we will definitely let others know about it.
