Samsung seems to be hitting a homerun with the Galaxy SII. The latest Android offering from Samsung has killer hardware and runs the latest version of Android OS. When the iPhone 4 launched in Korea last year, it saw 110,000 pre-orders for the same (we doubt this figure, see this). But if Samsung is to be believed, the Galaxy S2 has seen over 200,000 pre-orders in just 1 hour of opening across all three carriers in Korea. Thats a encouraging number.
Guess when the Galaxy S 2 comes to US and other countries, which is being dominated by the iPhone 4, we would know better about the performance of the same. For now, the best Android device is surely rated as the best smartphone money can buy. The SAMOLED Plus screen, thin design and a super fast CPU makes the Galaxy S 2 tick. Its surely a techies dream for now. Apple, all eyes on iPhone 5. Septermber might just bee a little too late for launch.
