Locly is a free AppStore app for iPhone 2.0. It required an active internet connection (3G, WiFi …), and it pins down your location (longitudes and stuff). Locly is your local guide in a new town. It uses the Google Maps / GPS to track your location and provide you with info about nearby restaurants, coffee shops, Supermarkets, Pubs, banks, ATM’s, Gas stations, Flick images from the locations, Wikipedia articles, and more ….!
Works pretty well on our iPhone 1st Gen running 2.0.2. And gives good enough guide here in Mumbai aswell.
It provides address & contact nos of the locations and approx distance from your current position.
All in all a good app for the iPhone V2.0.
