We have seen several apps on the iPhone which are mindboggling. But here’s another killer app. I always wished that i could watch tv on my phone. Well now the wait is probably over. Television app for the iPhone allows you to watch 61 television shows from 33 channels. Its not live tv but the best pre-recorded content from USA,UK,France and Germany . This app aggregates its sources and provides everything for you in one easy package, as long as you’re on WiFi.
Lemme inform you that this app works only on wifi and not 3G. Apple’s policies are to blame for this and not the developers because they are the ones to deny this feature as the app wouldnt work that well on 3G. The way this app works is pretty simple, it pulls down information on all the latest shows from those networks. Next to each video you’ll see a screenshot on the left and some more information about the clip on the right.
The app is pretty simple to use as well. Just tap on the video and it will load up the video in the Youtube player. This is all handled within the app and done very well. As the app works on Wifi, the video does load up pretty quickly.The app is pretty stable and there are no bugs seen yet.
Television is an awesome app that allows you to view quite a bit on your device. Though the fact that this app doesnt work on 3G, it is still a pretty good buy. The list of channels ranges across USA, UK, France, Australia and Germany!
