This Cydia app would cost you $2 and is coming via BigBoss source. But every penny on this pierce of code would be worth it. Apparently 3G unrestricted tricks your iPhone to think that it is on WiFi while it is on the EDGE or 3G – and allows you to run all applications over your cellphone data plan. (Just like Tricket ThreeG did)
Currently Apple restricts the apps for using 3G network for data hungry apps like Fring or Skype. Podcasts and videos over 10MB is also restricted. But all this would be history with this little app.
3G un restrictor shall work with the following apps and more:
- Skype
- Slingplayer
- YouTube
- AppStore
- iTunes Store
- Nimbuzz
- Fring
- Truphone
- FriendCaller
- SipPhone
App instructions:
After installing 3G Unrestrictor all you have to do is start the 3G Unrestrictor config app, tap the “Edit” button and then the + button. You will be presented with a list of all of your installed applications. Choose one by tapping it. You can also type in the name in the search box to search directly for an app.
After that 3G Unrestrictor will automatically trick the app into thinking it is on WiFi.
