Leak suggests HD iPod / iPhone later today, no camera iTouch

A couple of very interesting last minute leak / rumors suggest that Apple might just upgrade the firmware on the iPhone, and the iPod touch 2G to support HD movies and refrain from launching any camera iPods. According to a press release by Harman Kardon (a leading audio accessory maker) its latest Bridge III iPod / iPhone dock & audio / video receivers can play ‘HD video content stored on the iPod and iPhone products’.

Adding to fuel to fire is the AppleInsider leak based on historically trusted sources, which claim that the iPod Classic would be bumped to 160GB, 1GB shuffle shall be phased out and no new iPod touch shall be seen. What would ultimately come out officially would be out in less than an hour. Do check back for updates…
