Motorola Droid is perhaps the most hyped and advertised Android device in US. While reviewers believe that it is still not enough to beat the iPhone 3GS, this would surely help Motorola towards a revival. Amongst the whole lot, of Android devices that we have seen the HTC Hero, and the Droid stand out as the best ones. And if figures of app downloads on the Android platform are to be believed, the Motorla Droid was the most gifted cellphone this Christmas.
According to data from Flurry Analytics Droid saw a 93% jump in downloads on Christmas day and its overall share was 49% (amongst Android devices). This clearly shows the momentum Droid has gained. Hope this is enough encouragement for Motorola to rollout some breakthrough devices in 2010.
