FakeCarrier is a free Cydia app which lets you change your carrier name in the status bar of your iPhone, we checked it out on our Apple iPad and it works with zero error.
FakeCarrier is a really smart app and something very different from the Cydia store. The app not only helps you change your carrier name to anything you want but it also lets you add a message instead of the time in the status bar. It is not a necessary tweak but it is fun to use it and adding a message instead of time can be useful at times.
The app has a very simple interface and it is very easy to use.
