iPhone 4 has made its impact already and widely acknowledged as the best smartphone our there in the market today. With the global roll-out happening faster than ever before, Apple sure is selling more than every before.
China got the iPhone4 recently and the sales are going through the roof already. On day 1, China Unicom sold 200000 iPhones on pre order and 40000 via in store purchases. For comparison sake, the 3GS took 6 weeks to sell 100000 units in 2009.
These sales figures do not include the sales via Apple Stores and guess we will have to wait for Steve Jobs to announce that. Given the fact that China’s biggest carrier China Mobile hasn’t worked out something with Apple yet, China Unicom is certainly making full use of the opportunity.
The wait for iPhone 4 in India is still on and the September is already gone. We are hoping or a October release for the iPhone4 in India.
