Today, BGR reported that AT&T prices have been further lowered to $529 for a 64GB Wifi+3G version whereas 32 GB iPad has been removed from the listing. However, iPad 3G 16GB is now available for $429.
The BGR noted that these are the online prices and inventory could be low. If you were planning to purchase the first generation iPad, you may want to snap up now. There is no news that whether Apple is considering for a refund to those customers who earlier purchased an iPad, that is, the day before prices were dropped.
We have no idea till when the prices will last. Apple in India, discounted the prices in a couple of months after launch. There is no confirmation yet that whether these sudden drop in prices by AT&T will affect Indian retail prices as well.
