Untethered iOS 4.3.1 jailbreak is under beta testing

Here’s a piece of good news for all iPhone, iPod touch and iPad owners who’ve been holding on. The iPhone Dev Team member Musclenerd said on Twitter that the untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3.x is being beta tested. The exploit for untethered jailbreak has been discovered by iOS platform Security Researcher/Developer called Stefan Esser – known as @i0n1c on Twitter. According to Musclenerd, the i0n1c’s untethered jailbreak exploit is pretty solid. (Hint. Hint!)

At this moment, you can jailbreak your iOS 4.3.1 based iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 3G, iPod touch 4G and iPad by trying your luck with the PwnageTool 4.2 for Mac with a complicated way or sn0wbreeze 2.4 beta 1 for Windows. Remember that there’s NO unlock for all recent basebands found in iOS 4.3.1 and can only support these basebands – 01.59.00 / 04.26.08 / 05.11.07 / 05.12.01 / 05.13.04 / 06.15.00. Choose your tools wisely.
