Apple Store Declares The Arrival Of Square Credit Card Reader In US

Yes, Square Credit Card Reader which is a product and company founded by Jack Dorsey (also co-founder of Twitter) is now available in all U.S App Retail Stores and the online App Store for $9.99 each. The device can be connected via the 3.5mm headphone jack to your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad device using the iOS app. It helps you take credit card payments on the go. This banishes the need for complicated contracts, monthly fees, or merchant accounts. Square charges a flat fee of 2.75% for merchants who swipe cards and 3.5% + 15ยข for transactions when the card information is entered manually.
