After the endless rumors, Vijaysales has finally confirmed about the launch of iPad 2 in India today. They are claiming that the iPad 2 has been officially arrived in their stores but prices will not be unveiled online. Those who are desperate to know about the iPad 2 prices should visit the nearest VijaySale store in Mumbai. iPad 2 is lighter, thinner and faster than its predecessor. It includes dual cameras (rear and front) for Facetime and HD video recording at 720fps.
OnlyGizmos earlier confirmed about the availability of iPad 2 this weekend. However, their sources reported April 28 or 29 as the date for the official launch. It is quite suprising that Apple has released iPad 2 in India prior to any press release. Also, the official Apple Indian site has not been updated yet with any information which still keep us in doubt. Tim cook while talking about the success of the iPad 2 said that it would arrive in 22 more countries in coming weeks. Possibility, India could be one of them.

[update] : VijaySales have just tweeted that they won’t be putting iPad 2 on their shelves today. We have to wait for some more days. It seems that the stock has been received but they are restricted to sell the product before any official announcement.
