Apple Seeds Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard Update, Prepares For Mac OS X Lion in July

Apple has recently seeded Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard update through its software update server on Mac. There are not many improvements in this upgrade except the fact that it prepares your system ahead of the Mac OS X Lion release in July. Unlike previous releases, Mac OS X Lion will be available for download through an OTA update from the Mac App Store. The upgrade will comprises of 4GB data seamlessly pushed to your Macbook, iMac, etc. 

The changes which have been included through this update are :

1) It enhances the Mac App Store to get it ready for the Mac OS X Lion.

2) An issue has been resolved that causes preview to quit unexpectedly.

3) Support for IPV6 has been improved.

4) It also improves VPN reliability.

5) It identify and removes known variants of Mac Defender.

Apple is expected to release Mac OS X Lion anytime soon in July. For those who are desperately waiting for the Mac OS X Lion should update with Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard to avoid any problems.
