iOS 5 Push Notifications Warns Japanese Users About Earthquakes

History to be told, Apple has always cared for its customers whether it’s about privacy of the user or sharing data. Several applications from App Store have been rejected due to the fact that they don’t notify their customers while sharing location. The company has again taken a leap to enhance its trend by implementing another type of notification system in iDevices, specifically for Japanese customers where they would be notified everytime before an earthquake. We all know that Japan is a country which has suffered from natural disasters, some of them were really huge. To get notification about the information of epic center and other details prior to an earthquake is a sign of generosity.

Japanese users can find the option to turn on notification from settings>notifications and turn ‘on’ for earthquakes. As per TIME, an online system was launched in Japan in 2007 which has the capability to detect epic centers, tremors and sends warning through its 1,000+  seismographs scattered all around the country. Undoubtedly, these notifications must be connected to the servers of these online systems to push data from time to time which would benefit most of the iDevices users. Perhaps, this could be the reason for many of the Japanese customers to buy iPhone 4 or next generation iPhone for themselves.
