Apple has seeded yet another update to Apple TV after 4.4 which was targeted towards an additional functionality in software. With 4.4 firmware, Apple TV could photo stream, do Airplay mirroring right from your iDevices, Trailers, added support for National Hockey League and Wall Street Journal Live.
It’s still unclear what was the main reason to push 4.4.1 update for Apple TV when previous version did well. Photo stream is an iCloud dedicated feature which let you sync all photos across all devices. With it, you don’t need to connect your Apple TV to iTunes and then sync them all. It is a seamless experience. Through Trailers, you can watch trailers of all unreleased movies with just a click away.
