Well, we have finally come across a tweet from MuscleNerd where he has attached some of the screenshots of the JailBroken iPhone 4S. According to him, the JailBreak is in preliminary stage and still needs a lot of work before it is released for public. In one of the screenshot, Cydia on the top of the Siri is a confirmation that JailBreak in iPhone 4S is possible.
Though this is not confirmed whether it would be an untethered or tethered JailBreak. Considering the circumstances, we are expecting a tethered JailBreak in iPhone 4S. Due to implementation of same A5 (dual core) processor as that in iPad 2, the type of exploit is still unknown and there are no official words on it from any of the hackers.
But hey, the day is not far when iPhone 4S users would be able to revive their JailBreaking days again. Chronic DevTeam has already found 5 userland based exploit in iOS 5 which may lead to an untethered JailBreak in the future. After the release of iPhone 4S JailBreak, probability for one of them to become public is certainly more.
