Well, BGR has come up with yet another news that refurbished iPhone 4 will be available in India soon. These iPhone 4 would be available in 16GB and 32GB models. Whereas, the price for 16GB will start from Rs 22,500. It is pretty cheap in comparison to what carriers, Aircel and Airtel offered in India – Rs 34,500 for 16GB and Rs 40,900 for 32 GB version.
Refurbished iPhone 4 signifies that due to any reason which could be a defect in internal hardware, the product was once sent to the company for the repair. After replacing and assembling all those components again, it is now available for selling purpose. For the first time, refurbished iPhone have landed in India. Similar to other iPhone, refurbished iPhone have a warranty of one year and they come up with a bill. You would be able to buy from selected stores in India soon.
It seems that after the discontinuation of 16 and 32 GB version of iPhone 4, it remains the only option to get them officially from stores. iPhone 4S is confirmed to launch in India on November 25 from Aircel. However, Airtel has not revealed anything about their plans to launch on the same day. But it is expected that it would be available from Airtel in the future. At this price point, iPhone 4 has arrived closed to iPhone 3GS 8GB which costs around Rs 19,990 from carriers and ready to be used with any GSM network in the world.
It is an amazing option for those who have waited for the price of iPhone 4 to come down tremendously. You may call it a second hand iPhone 4.
