After Twitter, System Level Facebook Integration Coming in iOS 6

After the D10 conference, where Apple’s CEO Tim Cook said that the relationship between Apple and Facebook is healthy and told to be stay tuned when asked about their mobile OS being dedicated only to twitter integration. At first, we were quite skeptical that Apple might not have solved the complexities in Facebook privacies to share content at system level. But the recent report from Techcrunch tells us a whole different story.

According to Techcrunch sources, Apple would concentrate more in iOS 6 to share content in the native applications. Hence, Facebook integration is pretty much imminent in the next mobile operation system from Apple. It seems that the company would want to make the service intuitive and friendly to its users, similar to entering credentials under settings and then sharing anything from applications such as Photos, Safari, Maps etc. Both twitter and Facebook integration could be achieved by popping up a dialog box in front of the user where the user has the option to choose from.

Perhaps, a user can upload data on both the services simultaneously. The integration in the Photos application could be similar to the recent release of Camera application from Facebook. Whatever the possibilities are, we are much excited to see the Facebook integration in iOS 6 at system level. In addition to it, Apple would also unveil their own Maps application with 3D option.
