We are hearing from pretty reliable sources that the grand launch of the Apple iPhone 4 in India is being prepared for 13rd September. Given the fact that the 3GS made its way to India only in 2010 and was plagued with a delayed worldwide launch due to supply constraints, this one would be the fastest India release for an iPhone model.
Steve Jobs promised at WWDC 2010 that the iPhone4 was their fastest global rollout till date and they would be in over 80 countries in September, Apple fans in India would surely be happy. Vodafone is the prime carrier carrying the iPhone in India and we can safely assume that Airtel would also follow the same launch plan?
What more, the price is being speculated at either Rs 36000 or Rs 39999. Steep, but would still sell if they manage a September launch!
