Deutsche Telecom Has Started Taking Pre-Orders For iPhone 5, Launch Soon?

Deutsche Telecom, a Germany operator, has started taking pre-orders for Apple’s next generation device prior to any launch dates. This could be an attempt to know about the demand of iPhone 5 without providing any information on technical specifications, reports Bloomberg. However, the same source has previously claimed that next generation iPhone would land only in September when other sources said October. But these reservations of iPhone 5 through coupons indicates the launch in September itself. Though, the spokesperson on phone didn’t call it an iPhone 4S or iPhone 5. Instead, he called it a successor of iPhone 4.

This may hint towards the fact that company’s next flagship device would be an iPhone 5, that is, an entire change in design and improvement in internal hardware from current generation iPhone. Certain iPhone 5 cases and a leaked photo stream icon has suggested an elongated button and a larger (4 inch) display whereas Digitimes sources continuously claimed to believe that it would be less than 4 inches. iPhone 5 is expected to have 8 megapixel camera, HD video recording at 1080p, revamped design, new antenna, dual core processor etc. Are you excited for iPhone 5?
