Apple's Suppliers TSMC and Foxconn To Add 5,000 More Employees

Contradicting the ongoing reports and rumours coming from various sources including investment firms and local media Apple’s suppliers have been scaling up which proves to be a really good news for Apple. Foxconn’s sub unit Hon Hai and TSMC have been recruiting like crazy, this is Hon Hai’s one of the major recruitment drives ever with a requirement of 5000 employees primarily into R&D whereas TSMC is aiming for equipment managers. The recruitment notices at events are designed for graduating Taiwanese university students.

The new hiring requirement is a strong hint towards both the Apple manufacturers gearing up for the next wave of products from Apple that might be iPad 5, iPad Mini 2, iPhone 5S and iPhone low cost versions which are all showing strong launch rumours since past few weeks. With the unearthing of the new 28nm processor in refreshed model of Apple TV which might very well be the 28nm processor this might be Apple’s another big step to move out from Samsung in a long term plan to distance itself from Samsung completely.

Apple might be doing a test run of 28nm processors to finally go for a large scale product of Apple A5X processor that is rumours to be found in iPad mini 2 and possibly even the A7 processor that might come up in iPhone 5S later this summer.
